Event: Debenhams Autumn/Winter Press Show

The Debenhams Press Show has got to be the event I look forward to the most, they never fail to impress. Held in one of my favourite Glasgow locations, Blythwood Square hotel, we were invited along for a day of fashion, beauty, fizz and macarons. There was even the opportunity to be pampered by Aveda, Benefit, Urban Decay and Tammy from DIY Nails.

Autumn/Winter is my favourite season when it comes to fashion. I love coats, boots, scarfs and sparkly dresses and Debenhams had a fabulous range to showcase. I actually want everything.

The show stopper of the day for me was these snake skin Faith boots which are only £59.99 by the way. I will definitely be adding these to my collection when I return from my holiday.

Another stand out was the Benefit REAL cheeky party Christmas gift set which includes five of their popular powders, (Sugarbomb, Rockateur, Dandelion, Hoola and Coralista) They're Real mascara and push up eye liner all for £29.50. I think the Benefit Christmas sets are great value for money and always stock up at Christmas.

Thanks to the Debenhams PR team for inviting me along, I had a great time as always.

Event: Kiehls Daily Reviving Concentrate Launch

So I'm starting to realise that the Kiehls shop in Glasgow throws the best parties. The first one I attended back in July was for the launch of Fashion Cultures for the Merchant City Festival and here was me thinking the entertainment couldn't get any better than that one, until last week when I went along for the launch of the new Daily Reviving Concentrate.

The evening was hosted by Morgan McMichaels from RuPaul's Drag Race. They couldn't have picked a better person to launch the product, Morgan was so entertaining and had us all in stitches. My favourite bit of advice from Morgan "I don't know if you moisturise but you all f**king should, Scottish People don't age well".

The Daily Reviving Concentrate is a facial oil enriched with Ginger root, Sunflower and Tamanu oils and keeps skin looking radiant and youthful all day. The oil sinks into the skin helping to improve fine lines, dullness and the texture.

Use in the morning (after you have applied your serum and before using a moisturiser) by applying a few drops to your hands and then massaging into your face in circular motions, working upwards.

I have been using the oil for just over a week now and can already feel a difference in the texture of my skin. I suffer from dryness around my nose and just under my eyes which has improved a lot since using this. It also makes my skin feel more plump and my fine lines less visible.

The oil feels so luxurious and moisturing while massaging into the face and although it does suggest you moisturise afterwards I haven't felt the need for a moisturiser. I have found however it doesn't absorb as quick as I would like for my quick morning routine and I have to leave it to absorb for a least five minutes and go do something else (like make my breakfast) before I can apply my next product.

Have you tried the Daily Reviving Concentrate?
